Title:  Manufacturing Office Logistics Administrative Support Specialist
Location:  Erie
Salary Range:  $75,000 to 90,000 + Health, Dental, Vision & 401K, Vacation time. Paid time off

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials and products through our supply chain. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to optimize logistics operations.

Duties:
Customer Service/Inside Sales duties:
  • Answer the phones
  • Assist customers with product questions
  • Determine the best solution for each customer
  • Quoting customers
  • Follow-up with customers after quotes
  • Video calls
  • Travel for site visits
  • Search for new vendors
  • Work with different vendors
  • Request samples from vendors to maintain sample stock in the office
  • Build vendor spreadsheet for webpage products that are supplied
  • Work with different personalities - all types of customers - industrial, manufacturing, and residential
  • Continue to learn product knowledge and vendor specifications
Billing/Collections duties:
  • Processing payments and invoices for customers - email receipts
  • Collections of payments from customers with terms
Order Processing/Shipping/Receiving duties:
  • Communicate and track orders with production
  • Gather data on shipping weights for all products
  • Status updates - send tracking when the product ships
  • Sending out samples
  • Process online orders
  • Scheduling international and domestic freight
  • Quoting expedited shipping
  • Shipping
  • Resolution management - resolve issues that may arise with orders, materials, shipping, and other staff members
Purchasing:
  • Purchasing
  • Coordinate with the warehouse for inventory levels on materials - process POs when more inventory is needed
  • Process POs for products supplied by vendors
  • Tracking, verification, and data entry of purchase orders, packing slips/BOLs
Production Coordination/Documentation:
  • Coordinate with Production to discuss complex designs of customer invoices and bills
Clerical duties:
  • Order office supplies
  • Complete all special tasks that are assigned
  • Assist with projects
  • Product Excel sheets for distributors
  • Product Excel sheets for web page
  • Work with pictures and updated photos for website and/or other projects as needed.
  • Clean and organize
  • Daily meeting notes
  • Reload the stamp machine with money and ink
