Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic B2B Door-to-Door Sales Representative to promote our energy-efficient light bulbs to local businesses. In this role, you will be responsible for building relationships, delivering products, and driving sales in your assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Outreach: Conduct door-to-door sales visits to local businesses, presenting our energy-efficient light bulbs and explaining their benefits.
  • Product Delivery: Deliver products to customers in a company-provided vehicle, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with business owners and decision-makers.
  • Sales Goals: Meet and exceed monthly sales targets through effective selling techniques and customer engagement.
  • Market Research: Identify new business opportunities and gather feedback to improve our offerings.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions using our CRM system.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team and management to align strategies and share insights.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Attend five-day training either remotely or in Greensburg, PA and in the field to learn energy savings basics, the history of local energy efficiency programs, communications tactics, etc.
  • Conduct outreach and education to targeted customers following a provided digital map, delivering fliers and packages of 25 and/or 50 lamps to each customer who agrees to receive them
  • Assist customers to fill out interest survey, updating lists throughout the day while in the field, on a company-provided device
  • Actively work to improve processes, provide feedback, and contribute to efficiency of overall program
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts
Qualifications:
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proven track record in sales (B2B preferred).
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Experience conducting direct, door-to-door or cold call sales a plus
  • Experience working in energy efficiency programs a plus
